Welcome To My World

Social media, influencer marketing, fashion, travel, iced almond lattes, cacio e pepe, chunky shoes, leather pants, sunsets, award shows, group fitness classes, trips to the beach, museum dates, laughing until my tummy hurts. These are a few of my favorite things.

Nice to meet ya

I’m Arianna, a recent public relations graduate now pursuing a masters in digital strategy at the University of Florida. Go Gators! I was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and moved to beautiful and sunny Miami, FL when I was seven years old.

For the past four years, I’ve been living in Gainesville, FL (and loving it) while dreaming of big city life in NYC - one of my favorite cities in the world (second only to Florence, Italy of course).

But, who am I?

Backtracking to middle school in 2011 (I know these were tough times, but bear with me), I downloaded Instagram and played pretend I had an audience I was sharing my life with. I took selfies in my room or photos of the plants in my backyard, went back and forth between photo filters and settled on the perfect caption for my zero followers. It was a simple pastime, but something I looked forward to playing with every day. And it was only the beginning.

Fast-forward nine years and now, I create content on my personal Instagram (@ariannabaq) for fun and in collaboration with some incredible brands I love and admire, including Victoria’s Secret Pink, Vera Bradley, Express, Pandora Jewelry, My Clarins Skincare, Kate Somerville Skincare, Girls Who Code and more. I have joined an ever-growing community of micro-influencers and content creators who love curating and connecting through the power of social media.

Social media has been a part of my life since I was a 12-year-old in sixth grade, and when I stepped into UF, I decided I would make a career out of it. My passion for fashion, lifestyle and pop culture media has led me to some amazing opportunities and I am always hungry for more.

So what’s next? After interning for VS Pink’s concept design team in NYC this past summer, I have been daydreaming of moving back and pursuing an internship or full-time position in social media, content strategy and/or concept design after my graduation in May 2020. I hope to keep growing personally and professionally as I continue on the never-ending journey of perfecting my craft and becoming a better version of myself.

I am ready to take a leap of faith and pursue what makes me feel alive in the city I have fallen in love with.

I am ready to show 12-year-old me everything she is capable of.
